Well Done Glenurquhart ~ we are so proud of all your hard work preparing for this over the last 3 months. Huge thanks to Fiona Mackenzie for all the coaching sessions and to Isabella for being a super-prepared team sub! There was close competition amongst the 28 schools taking part. Our team scored a very respectable 25 points. Congratulations to the top three schools: Crown, Cradlehall and Spean Bridge. Best of luck to Crown Primary School at the final in Edinburgh! 🙂

Highland Learning for Sustainability
28 schools from across Highland Council, and with representation from all four areas of Highland, came together this morning to take part in the SEET Euroquiz competition that is open to P6 pupils across Scotland.
The quiz comprises of a geography round, a languages round, a round on ‘Understanding Europe’ and a final round on History, culture, sport and general knowledge. The teams compete across the rounds and at the end of round 4 we proceed to a head-to-head with the top two scoring schools.
It was a very close competition throughout with Cradlehall taking an early lead, just pipping Crown and Central to that top spot. After round two the scores were beginning to even up with Crown and Cradlehall neck and neck but with Central and Dornoch very close behind.
