On Tuesday afternoon, it was great to welcome Carol from the SSPCA back to Glenurquhart. She delivered a workshop about food and farming to P6/7. This linked back to our previous farm visit and our work on food at the start of the school year.
Scottish SPCA inspectors work with the farming community to ensure good welfare practices are being carried out. In this workshop P6/7 were given the opportunity to view what it is like on a working farm, what farm animals need, what they produce and gained knowledge on farm animals behaviour and senses.
