This term, some pupils have undertaken personal projects as well as studying novels related to WW1. We started to share our learning by presenting posters to the class. Both presentations were very informative, and a lot of thought had gone into the layout of both posters. We look forward to hearing from more pupils over the next two weeks.

Glenurquhart Primary is taking part in BNF Healthy Eating Week this week. The children were all introduced to this at an assembly yesterday.
The purpose of the Week is to raise awareness of healthy eating and drinking, cooking, where food comes from and being active to promote key health messages and habits to young people.
We will be trying some of the BNF Healthy Eating Week challenges during the Week. These are:
Our school will focus on the Drink Plenty challenge with all the children encouraged to take their water bottles to school today and record how much they’ve drunk.

It was lovely to see and hear so many encouraging and congratulatory moments between the pupils. 🙂
This week we have been learning how to describe hair and eye colour in French. We have added to our family of characters, to practise describing males and females other than ourselves.
Mrs McLean gave some of the P6/7s a challenge on Wednesday – they were asked to take photos of as many right angles as they could. They found quite a collection!
